Can't trust your constituents? Superdelegates are the way to go...

I realize this is probably eleventh hour as far as topic, but I still think the Demos use of superdelegates is nothing more than the party realizing that the party masses in general cannot be trusted.

The years of paranoia and extremism in the countless splinter groups that make up the left has proven too much for the party elite to handle... so the answer is to give the general leftist populace their 'pat on the head' vote in the primaries, and discount them entirely and allow a few elitists to have the power to pick a presidential candidate.

The party mantra is now "Select, don't elect".

Those who are up for consideration for cabinet and staff positions should not be the deciding voters. The superdelegate system is abominable and anything but democratic.

The superdelegate system was specifically designed to counter voter intent. During the rise of conservativism, the Democratic party felt that their base was likely to nominate a candidate who was too liberal to win the general election. So, they introduced the superdelegates as a way to for party insiders to influence the outcome, ostensibly to pick a more electable candidate. Ironically, if the superdelegates decide the nominee in this election, they're likely to pick the one who has less of a chance of defeating the Republican nominee.

But the age-old,smoke-filled back room makes the rules.

Should the convention come down to Obama with the most of the popular primary vote and Clinton swinging the Superdlegate vote to her side and getting the party's nomination, what then? It will surely be followed by the cries of 'don't taze me, bro'. if the general delegates balk at the notion.

But face up to it, folks. This has been the most non- democratic, forced process ever witnessed.

The media, the entertainment industry, the Dem party elite, the money men behind the scenes have put Obama into the position he now occupies.

So for the Dems, it won't be the ignorance of the many that loses the general election, it will be the ignorance of the few.

"Party of the People" anyone?

Obama supporters .. This has to be seen for what it truly is..

It’s past time for the truth to be known about Barack Obama and everything that surrounds him.

This Pflegler and Rev. Jeremiah Wright are the truest reflection of Obama. While he claims to distance himself from them, he is doing so only for the political gain he thinks it will net and keep for him during the election process. It's all a part of the scheme to continue the force-feeding of the Obama mystique down the collective throats of the American people, particularly the extreme left.

Never have I witnessed such a purely created character as Barack Obama. He has nothing of substance about him. He is a completely and totally gerrymandered candidate.

Everything about Obama is created for one purpose... popularity.

Creation over reality.

Rest assured that when and if Obama is the Democrat's choice, he will revert to his old ways, being a racist and using race baiting tactics to the fullest.

But he'll continue it from the 'Teflon' perspective, by saying something akin to 'I can't help what the people around me say..' and sheep will continue to be duped into thinking that Barack Obama is different from everything around him.

Obama sounds like a preacher, just like Rev. Wright and Rev. Pflegler. With the only difference being so much insincerity it has become laughable.

A huge portion of the population is being sold a bill of goods that has nothing that can come to any good in it.

Nothing more than a 'feel-good about me' type agenda that feeds the masses ...  those that wish to show just how liberal they are.

Nothing could be more damaging to true progressive thinking in this country.

And nothing could be more dangerous to this country at this point in time.

Not only is Obama is the wrong man at the wrong time, there should never be a 'right time' for any such foolishness as the "created" candidate.

“The great enemy of clear language is insincerity. When there is a gap between one's real and one's declared aims, one turns, as it were, instinctively to long words and exhausted idioms, like a cuttlefish squirting out ink.” -- George Orwell
